2nd Annual "Investing in Our Future” Scholarship Gala, Friday, Jan. 19, 2024

The United Negro College Fund (UNCF) and the Superintendents’ Commission for the Study of Demographics and Diversity (SCSDD) are proud to host, the 2nd Annual "Investing in Our Future" Scholarship Gala on Friday, January 19 at 6 PM at the Tinley Park Convention Center.
Last year, the sold-out gala raised $205,000 which was double the original goal. 10 of our Southland College Prep members of the Class of 2023 were awarded $1500 each in scholarships towards their college education.
There are approximately 37+ school superintendents, including Southland CEO and Matteson School District 162 Superintendent, Dr. Blondean Y. Davis who is a part of the SCSDD and invite the community to support this endeavor.
Nationally, UNCF awards more than 10,000 scholarships to students at their UNCF-affiliated HBCUs and at 1,100 other schools across the country each year.
Join us in supporting UNCF and the SCSDD in this initiative by helping raise funds for the Class of 2024’s upcoming college journey!
