March Madness Get Ready, Get Set, Get Fit Night 2019

Thank you to all of the families that came out an attended Richton’s Annual Get Ready, Get Set, Get Fit Night.  This year’s theme was March Madness.  The entire staff wore their favorite college jersey or t-shirt.  We had line dancing, yoga, and Zumba classes.  Our very own Nurse Mary conducted blood pressure screenings for parents.  The Illinois Extension SNAP Program & Coach Kelle provided healthy snacks and fresh fruit smoothies to families.  Ingalls Behavior Health, Flossmoor Dental, and Matteson Public Library to name a few shared with families the services they provide within the community.  All families were entered into a raffle for the opportunity to receive giveaways and gift bags.  Each student had an opportunity to choose a gift which encouraged families to keep getting fit together.  Also, all families received two movie tickets to a Marcus Theater of their choice.

Families also had an opportunity to sign up for our Richton March Madness Basketball Tournament.  Congratulations to the following families:

1st place- Robinson Family with a total score of 37 points

2nd place- Strong Family with a total score of 31 points

3rd place- Ross Family with a total score of 28 points
