Hi, My name is Jacob Gloude.  I have been teaching in this district for 12 years and this is my second year here at O.W. Huth Middle School.  I am a graduate of Western Illinois University where I was a catcher on the baseball team.  Sports have been a huge part of my life since I was young.  My wife and I have a son, Aiden and are expecting our second son in April : ) 

I am excited to say that I will be coaching the 8th grade girls volleyball team this year.  I have also been coaching boys sophomore baseball at Lincoln Way West Highscool for the past 6 years.  

In order to be successful in my class students need to dress in the correct SD 162 issued PE uniform and have gym shoes each day we have PE and participate during class activities.  Students may also wear blue/black/grey sweatpants for PE.  

Every 6 weeks students rotate into a Health curriuculum for a 3 week span and studnets will not need to get dressed.  While in the health room, students are graded on class work, notes, participation and an end of unit test.
