All eighth grade graduates who currently reside in Rich Township High School District 227 (“District 227”) are eligible to attend Southland College Prep Charter High School (“Southland”). Southland is accepting application forms for District 227 students who wish to enroll in Southland’s Ninth Grade (9th Grade) Class for the 2023-2024 school year. Southland is a free public charter high school, with a college preparatory curriculum and school day that begins at 7:45 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. This will be Southland’s thirteenth freshman class. Southland will serve students in Grades 9 to 12 with a school size of approximately 600 students.
