Mrs. Bowers has been serving the students and community of Matteson School District 162 for ten years and has been a physical education teacher at Arcadia School for six years.

In her physical education classes, Mrs. Bowers encourages sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth. She promotes decision-making and goal-setting as life skills and educates her students on the importance of maintaining a healthy body and mind through positive behaviors. Mrs. Bowers looks forward to teaching her scholars and leaders lifelong skills, which will cross over subject matter and help to develop character.
