I am excited to work as the Reading Specialist for Illinois School. I have taught for eleven years in Matteson School District 162 and have served the district in a number of ways. I taught at Indiana School teaching a wonderful group of 5th grade students for eight years! I also served as a spelling bee coach, mentor, school newspaper editor, and RTI school coordinator. I can't wait to work in another role in the District that will focus even more specifically on my strengths in literacy. I look forward to a year of growth and success!
