Mrs. Delby has been Sauk's Library Media Specialist for six years.  She loves working with each student and motivating them to read many different books throughout the year. She also has many exciting things planned for the students, such as book tastings, STEM activities, and lessons on the different book genres.

This will be Mrs. Delby's nineteenth year teaching at Sauk Elementary, and she has loved every minute of it!  Mrs. Delby graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education, with endorsements in Language Arts, Reading, Science, and Social Studies.  She also completed her student teaching at Sauk Elementary.  Mrs. Delby loves learning and school, so she began graduate school in 2007 and graduated in June 2009 from Governors State University with a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction.  Mrs. Delby also attended Illinois State University once again and earned her Librarianship Certification in 2017. 

Mrs. Delby has been married for eight years.  She and her husband love to travel-especially to the different baseball stadiums across the country!  They welcomed a daughter in August 2019. In her free time, Mrs. Delby has a passion for reading, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.
