Hello! I am Mrs. Calderon, the Reading Specialst at Sauk School. I graduated from St. Xaiver University with my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and endorsements in Social Science and ELA. I then continued my education at Lewis University, obtaining a Master's Degree as a Reading Specialist.

It's been my privilege to teach the furture of America in Matteson School District 162 for the past 13 years. During which time, I had the opportunity to teach a variety of grades.  Working with the 4th through 6th grade is my favorite!  Diving deep into literature with my students and watching them get exciting about reading is rewarding! My time away from school is spent with my family. My kids (students and 3 daughters) keep me busy and on my toes! I wouldn't have it any other way.
