Mrs. Suzanne VanSlyke

Mrs. Suzanne VanSlyke is beginning her 36 year of teaching in the primary grades.  She has spent 31 of those years at Matteson Elementary School.  Born and raised in the south suburbs, Mrs. VanSlyke is proud to continue to serve there.  Always taking pride in providing sound instruction for her students, she is looking forward to motivating her students to strive for academic excellence in the 2021-2022 school year. When Mrs. VanSlyke is not involved in performing her teaching duties, she loves time with her family.  She also enjoys reading, fitness activites and watching sporting events.
