Back To School Information
The start of the 2018-2019 school year is coming soon. Here is a quick overview of what parents across the District need to know to start the year and where to find more information on our web sites:
The first day of school is Tuesday, August 28th with a 10:45am early dismissal. Beginning Wednesday, August 29th through Friday, September 7th the district will dismiss students at 1:25pm. Normal bell schedules resume beginning Monday, September 10th.
Parents who were not able to attend one of the district-wide registration dates the week of August 6th may register at their home school beginning Monday, August 13, 2018 between the hours of 8am and 12pm. Returning students will not be required to reprove residency unless the student has moved to a new address. Remember the first day of school is Tuesday, August 28, 2018 with a 10:45am early dismissal.

PowerSchool is our secure database that records student information, including name, address, schedule of enrolled classes, attendance and grades. Information is updated daily. Parents should know how to access their child's information using a secure login provided by the District office at the beginning of the year.

Parent Teacher Organization
Each school in 162 has an active Parent Teacher Organization that works to support education and build community among our families. Check the link on your child's school to learn more about joining the PTO!
