Breakfast, Lunch and Snacks enhance the educational, social and nutritional development of children. A breakfast and lunch will be offered to students enrolled in the full day program. Families who are eligible for free or reduced lunch must complete an application during the registration process. We provide milk and a healthy snack daily for all students during snack time. We will serve healthy nutritious snacks as described in the district Wellness Policy. If your child’s health record indicates that he/she has a life-threatening food allergy, the State of Illinois requires that the school hold a current management or action plan for the diagnoses. A Food Allergy Action Plan must be completed and signed by the child’s physician. Contact the student health services office for details.
Our meals menus are listed online HERE. You can also learn more about our Food Service, get a Free and Reduced Meals application, or contact our District staff on the Food Service section of the 162 web site.
