'23-'24 marks my 18th year in education, and my first year at Southland. I'm teaching 12th-Grade Global Literature and Mock Trial. I hold a BS in Acting (Illinois State University), MAT in English Education and Type 75 certiicate for School Leadership (National-Louis University), and an MFA in Theatre (University of Memphis). When not teaching I enjoy reading, writing, attending live theatre, presenting at The Moth Chicago,  and spending time with my wife Katie (1st grade teacher) and daughter Piper (4th grader). As a Matteson native--I attended Indiana, O.W. Huth, and Rich Central--this job is a homecoming.
