I received my undergraduate degree in Social Science.  I have two completed Master’s Degrees and one ongoing; the first in Mental Health Counseling and the second in Psychology. The ongoing is a Master of Arts in Teaching in Secondary Education. I am a licensed Bilingual Educator teacher in the state of Illinois and a professional member of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Language (ACTFL).

In my career, I have had the opportunity to serve in different roles and environments from Federal/State Government and private sector– I’ve served in the United States Armed Forces (Army) for a period of 24 years; both Active and reserved.  I have sidelined my Mental Health training as Mental Health Counselor, Substance Abuse Counselor; Suicide Prevention Coordinator, and Educator.  I have also performed in my Industrial/Organizational Psychology field as a Human Recourses Director in multiple organizations. I have taught Spanish Sophomores and seniors, and currently, I’m the Spanish teacher for Juniors.
