Ms. Arlene Mojica

My name is Mrs. Arlene Mojica and this is my 28th year teaching. It is an honor to work at Southland College Preparatory High School as the Spanish VI, AP Spanish Language and Culture, and AP Spanish Literature and Culture teacher and the World Language Department Chair. I received my undergraduate degree in Business Administration.  I have two Master’s Degrees; the first in Education and the second in Global Business.

I am a licensed Foreign Language and Math teacher in the states of Indiana and Illinois. I also have a certification in Special Education. Currently, I am a Curriculum and Instruction in Technological Learning Environments doctoral candidate at Ana G. Mendez University in Puerto Rico.

In my career, I have had the opportunity to serve in teaching different roles – as a teacher in Math, Science, and Spanish from grades K-12 and as a Professor teaching Business Administration at NUC University. I have also served in various administrative roles – as a Math Program Coordinator, as a Director of Dual Language Program, as Mentor Teacher, as Instructional Coach and as a School Transformation Lead Coach with the International Firm Houghton Muffling Harcourt.
