Ms. Nadine Mele

Ms. Mele grew up in the south suburbs of Illinois and graduated from Bloom High School in Chicago Heights. After graduating, she began her college career at Illinois State University, where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, along with Middle-School Endorsements in Math, ELA, Science and Social Studies. Ms. Mele began teaching in grades four and five at Lincoln School in Dolton, IL, where she held this role for seven years. During this time, Ms. Mele attended Governor’s State University, where she received her Master’s Degree in Special Education. Ms. Mele then transferred into the Special Education setting and taught for ten years as a Special Education Teacher, also at Lincoln School.

Ms. Mele has taught ninth grade summer school math at South Suburban College and has always had a love for the subject. She is thrilled to be teaching 7th Grade Math at O.W. Huth Middle School and looks forward to sharing her knowledge and skill and love for the subject with her students.

In her free-time, Ms. Mele enjoys exercising, baking, traveling and attending musicals at the various  theatres in Chicago. Ms. Mele currently lives in the south suburban area with her husband and three children.
