Mrs. Marquita Wallace

Hello, I'm excited to continue my teaching career here at Matteson School. I look forward to helping your students achieve their academic goals. I hold a liberal arts Bachelors degree from Northern Illinois University and I obtained my Masters in Special Education with an Early Childhood approval from Saint Xavier University. I believe all children can learn when given supportive adults who will help them learn in their unique ways. I practice giving my best and will expect the same from my students. I look forward to all that my students and I will learn together!

My husband and I have 3 children and a puppy, and we call South Chicagoland home. When I'm not at school you may find me at Target, Ikea, or on the couch. I love being at the beach, but I’m not a strong swimmer. I enjoy reading, I often eat dessert first, and I would love to travel to Australia one day. 

This school year is going to be great!
