    The Illinois State Board of Education passed a RESOLUTION on May 19, 2021 that requires all schools to return to full in-person learning in the fall of 2021. In addition, the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) announced on July 9, 2021 that it was fully adopting the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) UPDATED GUIDANCE for COVID-19 prevention in Kindergarten - 12th grade schools.

    District #162 is committed to the health and safety of its students and staff and will meet or exceed the guidance provided. All students have returned 5 days per week in-person to all District 162 schools. The District requires that masks be worn by all students and staff in the building and social distancing of 3-6 feet will be in place, whenever possible.
