Hi, my name is Sandy Simmons and I am Matteson School's Media Specialist. This is my 20th year of teaching and my 7th year working as a Media Specialist. I taught Kindergarten for 13 years before I became a Media Specialist. I have three grown children. My oldest daughter Kristy, is a Special Education teacher. My middle daughter Ashley, is a Graphic Design artist. My youngest son Ken, is a Carpenter. I love reading and I feel amazing when I share a new book with my students and they love it so much they want to check out books just like it.
