My name is Glenisha Hatchett and I am excited to be teaching 6th and 7th grade math for a second year at Illinois!  I attended Concordia University where I received my Masters Degree in Curriculum Instruction with a focus on math. I am also an alumni from Chicago State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. 

Last school year, I facilitated an after school program called Early Act, which encouraged students to become leaders of their school, local, and global communities.  In addition, I also tutored math to students who needed additional help.  In my free time, I enjoy watching movies and sports with my two beautiful children.

I  am looking forward to teaching a subject I love to students who love to learn!!!
