Welcome to Art Class! My name is Miss ZiebART and I am so excited to be a new member of the Matteson School family!

About Me:

I am the middle child of 5 girls. I am a graduate of Illinois State University. I have experienced education through many lens, both local and abroad, including teaching roles in Frankfort, Naperville, Bloomington, and Eastborne, England. I also have my own business called Perspective Designs & Decor. I specialize in custom, free-hand signs for weddings, local businesses, home decor and other special events. When I am not creating art, I am also very passionate about health & wellness for both people and pets, fitness, traveling, and enjoying time with friends, family and my dog-Calla.

Goals:

Create a safe and positive learning environment

Practice positive self-talk and communicaation with others

Use materials properly

Foster creativity and appreciation for visual arts

Accomplish projects in a timely manner

Project-based learning that is student-centered

Make cross-curricular connections with an emphasis on real-world application
