Mrs. Landingham

Janet Landingham is in her sixth year as a third grade teacher at Matteson Elementary School. She was raised and continues to live in the south suburban area of Chicago. Her family includes her husband Ranard and eight-year-old daughter Selah.

Previously to her time at Matteson School, she taught second grade at Nathan Hale Elementary School in Crestwood, IL for six years. She also worked as a paraprofessional in a third through fifth grades ED/BD special education classroom and as a site director for the Champions before & afterschool program. Doing those jobs over 12 years allowed her to develop a passion for working with children and motivated her to pursue a career in teaching. She received her Bachelors in Elementary Education K-9 with a Middle School Endorsement in history from Governor's State University.

Some of her interests include traveling, reading, karaoke and working with children. Working as a team, the parents, students, teachers, and administrators will make this year a super year for learning!
