Mr. Scott Sargent

Greeting All Indiana Wildcats and Matteson Eagles!

Mr. Sargent is in his fourth year teaching PE in SD 162. He will be teaching the Wildcats at Indiana School as well as some of the Eagles at Matteson School.

Mr. Sargent previously taught Elementary PE in the Houston, Texas area and in La Crescent, Minnesota. Mr. Sargent is a military Veteran, spending 9 years in the Illinois Army National Guard while attending Illinois State University and the University of Wisconsin at LaCrosse for his education. In his free time, Mr. Sargent enjoys all outdoor activities, riding his motorcycle, traveling, reading, and writing. His favorite subject in school besides PE was always history.  

Mr. Sargent looks forward to seeing our students improve their health physically, mentally, and emotionally this year, showing students how PE class can help them achieve better in the classroom as well as instilling lifelong healthy habits. Mr. Sargent looks forward to a great year of safe and healthy learning, allowing students to find physical activities that they enjoy.
