This is a standard course that covers two semesters of Introductory College Calculus. The first semester, for the most part, will be review of AP Calc AB. Students completing this course take the Calculus BC Advanced Placement examination. This course follows the program recommended by the Committees on the Undergraduate Program in Mathematics (CUKPM), the National Association of America, and The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. The strategy for achieving the objectives outlined in these recommendations falls into four categories 1) problem solving, (2) technology, (3) communicating mathematics, and (4) real-life applications.
Prereq: Pre-Calculus Honors, Pass the Pre-Calc Test Out Exam, or Complete Calc AB
