• During this time of At-Home Learning, it is important for your child to have opportunities to continue the development of their reading skills. Your child should have brought home their Doc-Its containing their Literacy Books and other materials to practice. Please read with your child for at least 20 minutes every day. On Monday, I sent home packets of additional activities to practice. I would strongly encourage daily use of the Reading Eggs online program. The website is www.ReadingEggs.com. If you need your child's login information, please let me know.

I am providing all of my first and second grade students who receive reading support access to the online digital library, Epic books.

www.getepic.com/students This is free for students (though access may be limited to day-time school hours). I have assigned each student books to read at their levels. Please email me at nperryman@sd162.org and I will send you the classroom access code.

I will also be posting videos during the upcoming weeks. Please check back frequently for updates and more activities.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email me.
