Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Tiffany M. Fincher
I’m Tiffany M. Fincher and I am EXCITED to introduce myself as the Parent Community Coordinator for Richton Square School! Over the course of my career I have committed myself to educating and empowering others. My approach to life is: PASSION, HARD WORK, and DEDICATION. As your Parent Community Coordinator I am committed to working together to build strong partnerships that support families and strengthen your child’s academic and developmental success.
I received my bachelor’s degree from Governors State University and graduate degree from Argosy University, from the College of Psychology and Behavior Sciences. In addition, I am a certified Social Emotional Learning Specialist which equips me with unique tools to support a safe and positive school climate, develop healthy relationships with peers and staff, and create a nurturing learning environment for all.
My experience has been working with community based organizations as a Mentor, Program Coordinator and later becoming the founder and Executive Director of a nonprofit organization. In addition, over the last 6 years I have had the opportunity to work in a school environment. Working in both, community based and educational settings has allowed me to view the needs of parents and students through a unique set of lenses. Overall I have worked in the field for over 16 years.
As your Parent Community Coordinator I am committed to actively developing strong partnerships between parents, school and the community. I welcome your ideas and questions, and look forward to contacting each of you over the next few weeks to get to know you better. Let’s work together to create an outstanding learning experience to support your scholar’s success.
Who is Tiffany M. Fincher personally?
In my spare time, I adore spending time with my husband and our daughters. I enjoy walking, turning old things into something new and I have a new found LOVE of gardening!!! During quarantine, I spent quality time appreciating the simple things. Recently, I did something I've always wanted to do!! I began taking skating lessons!! As we journey through the 2020-2021 school year I look forward to growing relationships with each of you and making it a great school year!
