School Meals Announcement:
Southland College Prep Charter High School is excited to announce participation in the National School Lunch Program for School Year 22-23. Southland continues to serve meals that are a healthy, balanced selection of grains, vegetables, fruits, and protein foods. These meals meet the requirements of the National School Lunch Program administered by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
If your student participates in breakfast or lunch their accounts will be charged as follows. Breakfest costs $1.95 and lunch $3.35.
Food is served from 7:30 a.m. until approximately 8:00 a.m. daily Two days a week a hot breakfast is offered. Lunch is served during the school day, at varied times between 10 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.,

At breakfast two days a week a hot breakfast item will be offered.

Free and Reduced Meals Program
Applications for the 2022-23 school year are available at the Southland College Prep Charter High School main office.
We are asking each family to review the eligibility for their household here.

Wellness Policy
Southland is committed to our students' health and well-being. To that end, Southland College Prep Charter High School formed a Wellness Committee to draft, review, and continually update its Wellness Policy.
DURING THE 22-23 SCHOOL YEAR, THE WELLNESS COMMITTEE IS MEETING TO UPDATE THE POLICY FOR THE TRIENNIAL ASSESSMENT.
The Wellness Committee consists of the following members:
