MAKING THE GRADE: KINDERGARTEN
Kindergarten students will have physical education class twice a week and they are required to wear rubber sole lace up or velcro gym shoes for class. Kindergarten students will be evaluated in physical education based on these three standards.
Demonstrates age appropriate motor skills.
- Participates in class activities.
- Listens and follows directions.
Evaluation Key: 4=Exceeds Standard, 3=Meets Standard, 2=Approaching Standard, 1=Below Standard
MAKING THE GRADE: 1ST - 6TH GRADE
The 1st thru 6th grade students will have physical education class twice a week. They will earn 20 points each class session if they are properly dressed in rubber sole lace up or velcro gym shoes, actively participating in the fitness activity and following gymnasium classroom procedures. Students will also earn 10 or more points for assessments each semester.
