We are so excited about this school year!  At the beginning of this school year, the students, Mrs. Lisota, and I will spend a large amount of time establishing introductions, procedures, and classroom routines.  Moving from second to third grade is a big step and we will be happy to guide your child throughout this year.  If you ever have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us at kmckee@sd162.org or klisota@sd162.org.  I look forward to working with you and your child this school year!

     Details about our classroom....

Monday Folders-Each week all students will take home a "Monday Folder".  This folder will be filled with tests, quizzes, and any other school work they have completed throughout the week.  We ask that you look through the folder weekly and review all past assignments and grades with your child.  Lastly, please sign the folder in the parent signature space provided and return the folder with your child on Tuesday. This is a weekly review of your child's progress.

Make-up work-Any tests, quizzes, homework, or class assignments in which your child has received a grade of 70% or less may be corrected.  The student will receive an average of the two grades.

If any questions or concerns arise, please do not hesitate to call or email us at your earliest convenience at kmckee@sd162.org or klisota@sd162.org.

I look forward to working with you and your child this school year!

Mrs. Kerry McKee and Mrs. Karen Lisota
