Ms. Richards

Hello everyone! My name is Ms. Richards and I teach second grade here at Matteson Elementary. I student taught second grade, then I taught Kindergarten my first year and now I’m back in second grade! This is my 4th year teaching and my 1st year in the district. I am a PROUD product of Matteson School District 162. I attended Arcadia, Indiana, and Huth. I graduated from Grand Canyon University with my Bachelors and Western Illinois University with my Masters’. I am currently in school for my doctorate. Outside of school, I also own my own skincare business. While I do not have any children of my own, I have all of my lovely students (previous and current) and I have 5 godchildren! My other favorite things include any and all things beauty, traveling, Disney, Target shopping sprees, and community service with my sorority, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated.
